Pallo Latke composers record two songs for Sanah Kapoor’s Saroj Ka Rishta

After making the whole nation groove to their foot-tapping dance number ‘Pallo Latke’ from the movie Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana (2017) and walking home with all top music honours for the same, the music trio of Raees and Zain - Sam has recorded two amazing songs for Sanah Kapoor’s upcoming film, Saroj Ka Rishta.

The first song has been crooned by vivacious Neeti Mohan, who has a number of chartbuster songs to her credit. It will be a solo dance number to be picturized on female lead Sanah Kapoor. While the song has been composed by the compositional powerhouse Raees & Zain - Sam, lyrics have been provided by noted Urdu poet, Liaqat Jafri.

The second song has been recorded in the powerful voice of Mika Singh alongside Sukriti Kakkar. It’s a duet which, according to composers, instantly grabs your attention and makes you hit the dance floor right away. Lyrics for this catchy dance number have been penned down by Sonu Saggu, who has previously written ‘Ik Vari Aa Toh Sahi’ for Varun Dhawan’s 2017 blockbuster Judwaa 2.

Talking about the song and the hard work that has gone into creating it, composer Zain Khan says, “We have worked too hard on this particular song and its soundtrack, which has Mika Singh & Sukriti Kakkar. Just to make this song sound global without tampering the essence of the film, we literally worked through many nights, till 4-5 am. We used to wake up early mornings in studios. We didn’t see home for quite a few days. This pressure was not because of the director or producers; we worked assiduously because this is the biggest song getting shot in the film, with a huge crowd of dancers. Shabina Khan, the choreographer, is going to kill it with her amazing steps and with those huge sets.”

Both songs will be choreographed by Shabina Khan, who has previously choreographed a series of hit songs for superstar Salman Khan, including ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ and ‘Sajan Radio’.

Besides Sanah Kapoor, Saroj Ka Rishta also stars Kumud Mishra, Gaurav Pandey and Randeep Rai. Directed by Phullu (2017) fame Abhishek Saxena, the rom-com is produced by Anmol Kapoor, Nazia Javed Siddiqui, Narinder Garg and Ambika Sharma.

The film begins production in August.
