PM Narendra Modi biopic to arrive on 12th April

Bollywood is awaiting the release of a number of biopics in 2019, and a biopic on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is one of them. Titled PM Narendra Modi, the film stars actor Vivek Oberoi in the title role.

Directed by National Film Award-winning filmmaker Omung Kumar, the biopic mounted the shooting floor early this year in January, and now the makers have announced the official release date of the film.


Also starring Boman Irani, Darshan Kumaar, Manoj Joshi, Zarina Wahab and Barkha Bisht Sengupta in important roles, PM Narendra Modi will be hitting the marquee nationwide on 12th April, 2019.

"PM Narendra Modi, the film will traverse the journey of Narendra Damodardas Modi from his humble beginnings to his years as Gujarat Chief Minister onto his landmark win at the 2014 election and finally being nominated as the Prime Minister of India," said director Omung Kumar.

Producer Sandip Ssingh added, "This is a very special film and a story that needs to be told. I hope this story of faith inspires the audiences. We are excited and happy to release the story of 1.3 billion people."

Omung Kumar, Sandip Ssingh and Suresh Oberoi are jointly producing the film.
