Police is looking for Asian cab driver, who manhandled 12-year-old girl

Police is looking for Asian cab driver, who manhandled 12-year-old girl

SEARCH is still on for a taxi driver, described as an Asian man in his late 50s, who  forcefully pulled a 12-year-old girl from his cab before throwing her to the ground, Northamptonshire police stated on Tuesday (13).

The incident happened in Moulton in Northamptonshire when the child, along with her mother and six year old sibling, hopped into a white Hackney cab at Northampton train station on July 3.

Northamptonshire police stated that once the cab set off, the woman felt uneasy over the driver’s behaviour and asked him to return them to the station so they could get another taxi.

The male driver became angry, stopped the vehicle in Northampton Lane, Moulton, and pulled the 12-year-old by her arm from the vehicle before throwing her on the ground, said the police.

The girl's mother and sibling then got out after which the driver left the scene.

The taxi driver is described as “5ft 3 inches, lean-built Asian man in his late 50s, with receding black hair and black moustache, both greying”.

Although the girl was not hurt, she was reported to be very upset by this incident.
