Prabhu Dheva heaps praises on Salman Khan

After Wanted (2009) and Dabangg 3 (2019), Prabhu Dheva and Salman Khan have teamed up for the third time. Their next film is titled Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, which is currently being shot at a brisk pace in Mumbai.

Prabhu, who has directed many superstars in his previous movies, feels that the kind of attitude that Salman Khan has can put a lot of younger stars to shame. “Salman is an effortless performer even when it comes to dancing. He does not need to do retakes. But there are times when he does even 16 to 18 retakes in a dance sequence, which I witnessed during Wanted days. It is not that he needs to do so many retakes. He is not scared of doing them. In fact, he demands more retakes to make sure that the filmmakers are satisfied,” says Prabhu.

He goes on to add, “I think it is about us directors capturing what he can do best because he has a unique style and attitude. We should not try and make him do things, and rather let him do what he does best and make films with him for his fans.”

Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai is in the last leg of its shoot. The team is looking at wrapping up the movie in two weeks and then will begin post-production. Also featuring Randeep Hooda, Disha Patani and Jackie Shroff in important role, the film is scheduled for its theatrical release on Eid 2020.

The previous two films of the duo turned out to be huge money spinners at the box-office. The audience and trade pundits are expecting the same kind of magic from their next as well. After Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, Salman Khan will be seen in Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali which enters cinemas on Eid 2021.
