Prime Video announces premiere date for Emmy-nominated series Four More Shots Please! Season 3

Prime Video today announced that the third season of the Emmy-nominated series – Four More Shots Please! will globally premiere on October 21 in India and more than 240 countries and territories.

Produced by Pritish Nandy Communications, directed by Joyeeta Patpatia, and written by Devika Bhagat, with dialogues by Ishita Moitra, the much-awaited Amazon Original will pick up from the dramatic note on which the second season ended, bringing back to screens the lives of four unapologetically flawed women who live, love, blunder, and discover what continues to make them tick through their forever friendship in the city of Mumbai.

Featuring Kirti Kulhari, Sayani Gupta, Maanvi Gagroo, and Bani J in lead roles, Season 3 will see Prateik Babbar, Lisa Ray, Neil Bhooplam,  Rajeev Siddharth, Amrita Puri, Simone Singh, and Samir Kochhar reprising their respective roles, whereas Jim Sarbh, Rohan Mehra, Shilpa Shukla, and Sushant Singh will be joining the well-acclaimed Amazon Original this new season.

“The unapologetic, resilient divas are back! Four More Shots Please! has been a true labour of love. It has received immense adulation and appreciation from audiences, not just in India but across the world, for its nuanced portrayal of contemporary Indian women who are ambitious, fearless, and independent. It’s a celebration of sisterhood,” said Aparna Purohit, Head of India Originals, Prime Video India.  "This show reaffirms our commitment to promoting diverse and new cinematic voices and making Prime Video a home for talent. 70% of the creators who we work with on a project, work with us again and that exemplifies true collaboration! We’ve had a long-standing collaboration with Pritish Nandy Communications and can’t wait to unveil the new season of the show on 21st October!”

“The success of our first two seasons has driven us to produce a power-packed season 3. Four More Shots Please! travels to Italy and Punjab this season, apart from South Mumbai; the drama is bigger, the scale is larger, and the friendship is stronger. The show’s nomination at the international Emmys in 2021 is a testament to the fact that Four Shots Please! has hit a personal note with audiences in India and internationally. There is really no other show that celebrates female friendships like Four More Shots Please! and I’m hopeful that our fandom will grow substantially with this new season.” said producer Pritish Nandy.

“Season 1, you met Anjana, Damini, Umang, and Siddhi, season 2 you saw them stumble through life lessons and blunders, season 3 watch our girls own themselves; drama, failures, errors in judgment, losses, and warts, all included. In that sense, season 3 is our most personal season. There is no way that you will not want to be a part of this friendship.” concludes Creator, Rangita Pritish Nandy.

Four More Shots Please! Season 3 is a part of Prime Video’s festive line-up for the Great Indian Festival 2022 starting 23rd September onwards. The line-up also includes several other original series and blockbuster movies across multiple languages, in addition to attractive “Diwali Special Discounts” from partners through Prime Video Channels.

IPL 2025: Most expensive buys – how they're performing

The 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) season has been marked by record-breaking auction bids and high expectations for marquee players. However, as the tournament progresses, several of these high-priced acquisitions have struggled to deliver performances commensurate with their hefty price tags.

Rishabh Pant made history by becoming the most expensive player in IPL history after being acquired by Lucknow Super Giants for around €297,000 during the 2025 auction. Despite the high expectations, Pant's performances have been underwhelming. He has struggled to find consistency with the bat, and his contributions have not significantly impacted Lucknow's campaign. Fans and analysts alike are hopeful that Pant will rediscover his form as the season progresses.

Kanye West apologises to Jay-Z, then crosses the line with explicit comment about Beyoncé

Kanye West’s relationship with social media has long been chaotic, but his recent posts aimed at Jay-Z and Beyoncé have taken things to another level. What began as an apology quickly spiralled into yet another controversy, one that once again raised eyebrows and tested the limits of public patience.

On Thursday, West tweeted a direct apology to Jay-Z, writing, “I’m sorry Jay Z.” He followed it with a message that hinted at deeper frustration. “I be feeling bad about my tweet but I still feel I gave my life to this industry… but when I needed family… none of these rap n—– had my back.” While some saw this as a step toward reconciliation, the moment didn’t last.

HOME SECRETARY Yvette Cooper has denied claims that Labour has abandoned plans for five local inquiries into grooming gangs, calling such allegations "huge misinformation" and "completely wrong".

Cooper recently addressed accusations that the government had dropped the inquiries for fear of offending Pakistani voters, saying: "We're actually increasing, not reducing, the action being taken on this. Child sexual exploitation, grooming gangs, these are some of the most vile crimes."
