Radhika Madan joins Irrfan Khan for the London schedule of Angrezi Medium

If one has to name one actress who has successfully transitioned from television to films in recent years, it has to be none other than Radhika Madan. After ruling television for a couple of years, Madan made her silver screen debut with Vishal Bhardwaj’s Pataakha (2018). The film may have not done well at the box-office, but the actress received appreciation and adulation for her performance from various quarters.

After Pataakha, Radhika Madan was seen in Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota (2019). Again, the film did not fare well commercially, but the actress did deliver a whistle-blowing performance in it. Radhika Madan is now gearing up for her third Bollywood film, which is Angrezi Medium. The movie is a sequel to the 2017 satirical comedy Hindi Medium and also stars Irrfan Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in lead roles.

After wrapping up their Udaipur schedule a couple of weeks ago, the makers of Angrezi Medium are presently in London for the next schedule of the film. Irrfan has already been shooting in the city for the past few days and now Radhika has also joined him. As for Kareena Kapoor Khan, we hear that the gorgeous actress will join the team soon. A major part of Angrezi Medium unfolds in London and hence the team will be shooting in the beautiful city for a couple of weeks.

Homi Adajania, who last helmed Finding Fanny (2014) is calling the shots for Angrezi Medium. Produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films, the much-awaited movie is set to roll into theatres in 2020.

After Angrezi Medium, Radhika Madan will start shooting for her next film Shiddat: Journey Beyond Love. The romantic film also features Diana Penty, Mohit Raina and Sunny Kaushal in the principal cast. It releases in 2020.
