Featuring Kapoor as Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt, the biopic has been in the making for more than two years now and is being touted as one of the biggest Hindi films releasing in 2018.

Hours before unveiling the engrossing teaser, the makers revealed the first official poster of the keenly-awaited movie, which has Ranbir Kapoor showcasing five different phases of Dutt's life from the age of 21 to 56.

The teaser starts off with Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay Dutt coming out of jail and then goes into a flashback to give a peek into different phases of Dutt's life. Minutes after going online, the teaser inflamed the internet with each and everyone praising Ranbir for portraying Dutt's character to a tee and looking exactly like him.

Besides Ranbir Kapoor, Sanju also stars a long list of popular actors such as Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza, Vicky Kaushal, Jim Sarbh and Boman Irani.

Directed by renowned Hindi filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, Sanju is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani in association with Fox Star Studios.
