Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy’s Made In China postponed

According to reports, Maddock Films’ upcoming movie Made In China has been postponed. The much-awaited film was earlier scheduled to hit the screen on 30th August, 2019. However, if latest reports are to be believed, the makers have decided to push the release of the movie to some other date.

Though there is no official confirmation on why the release of the film has been pushed weeks before its release, some insiders reveal that the decision might have been taken to ensure that it gets a clear window for release at the box-office. As we all know that Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor’s Saaho is also releasing on 30th August. Since Saaho is being touted as one of the biggest films of the year, releasing Made In China on the same date would have robbed the latter of its sheen at the box-office.

Made In China stars Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy in lead roles. Rao has confirmed the developments and said that the makers were figuring out the best date possible for the release of the film. In Made In China, Rajkummar Rao plays a Gujarati businessman who travels to China to get innovative ideas for his business. This is the first time when Mouni Rao will be seen sharing the screen space with the National Film Award winner.

Directed by well-known Gujarati filmmaker Mikhil Musale, Made In China is produced by Dinesh Vijan who is considered to be one of the most successful producers in Bollywood at the moment. He has previously bankrolled several successful movies including Badlapur (2015), Hindi Medium (2017), Stree (20180 and Luka Chuppi (2019) to name a few.
