Rakesh Roshan refutes rumours of not directing Krrish 4?

Superstar Hrithik Roshan is presently riding high on the thunderous success of his latest film War (2019). Also featuring Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles, the action entertainer has already entered the coveted club of Rs. 300 crores at the domestic box-office, becoming one of the most successful movies of the film.

While War is still playing in several cinemas across the world, fans are curious to know about the next project of Hrithik Roshan. According to reports, the handsome star is gearing up to team up with filmmaker Farah Khan for her next directorial offering after Happy New Year (2014). However, no official confirmation has been made in this regard as yet.

Meanwhile, one film that Hrithik Roshan is certainly doing is the fourth instalment of Krrish. After facing a lot of delay, the much-awaited film is expected to roll in mid-2020. Rumours have been rife lately that filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, who directed all the previous parts of the franchise, will not be directing Krrish 4 and that Sanjay Gupta has come onboard as a director.

Looks like there is no truth to these rumours. According to an entertainment magazine, Rakesh Roshan recently said that Sanjay Gupta is just writing the script with him but Krrish 4 will be directed by him only.

Talking about the film, Hrithik Roshan had earlier said, "I cannot put a timeline to when we may roll as it is a mammoth project. We will go on the floors only when we have everything in place."

As per some media reports, Krrish 4 is set to be a visual spectacle for the Indian audience. Reportedly, the sci-fi film will be made at a humongous budget of Rs. 250 crores. More details are awaited.
