As an actor, Ranbir Kapoorhas no limitations, says filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who believes he has presented the star in a never-seen-before avatar in their upcoming film Animal.
The movie revolves around a father and son and their troubled bond, played by Anil Kapoorand Ranbir. It is set against the backdrop of extreme bloodshed in the underworld.
The director, best known for Vijay Devarakonda-starrer Arjun Reddy and its Hindi remake Kabir Singh, starring Shahid Kapoor, said it was a pleasure to watch Kapoor transform into the total antithesis of himself in the role of Arjun Singh in Animal.
"Ranbir is a great actor, he is in a different league altogether. He is very original. I feel he is a mix of so many actors, it is wrong to compare to other actors, but I feel he is a mix of Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Kamal Haasan. This man (Ranbir) has no limitation,” Vanga told PTI.
"He doesn’t get angry like his character (in the film). He is a very calm person. I remember when I used to write rageful scenes, I would ask him so many times, ‘Ranbir, when do you get angry?’ He would say, 'I don't get angry, and Sandeep this is the 7th or 9th time you are asking me this'."
Vanga said he was introduced to Kapoor's work through Rockstar, in which the actor played the role of a musician struggling to find himself, spiritually and artistically.
"I saw two shows of Rockstar on the same day. I loved him and I told him about this. I never thought I would get to work with him. As a concept film, this is my second film. I’m glad I got to work with him this early. He had called me saying, ‘We should work (together)’. This is after Kabir Singh.
"He had actually sent me a text message after Arjun Reddy, and I had not seen his message as it came from an unknown number. It was such a mistake. I was so happy when I learned about it.”
Animal also stars Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna.
Speaking about Bobby Deol, Vanga said Deol was always the first choice for the movie.
"He is a great guy. From day one, we had Bobby in mind. I had called him in 2020 or 2021, he was promoting Class of 83. For one of the scenes where he is bare-chested, we shot it in Scotland in minus three degrees. He came, he did the shot,” he added.
Produced by Kumar and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios, and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures, Animal will release theatrically on December 1 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Rihanna is back in the mix, and this time she’s leading the pack with her latest single, ‘Friend of Mine’. The track has debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance Digital Song Sales chart, making it the most purchased dance song in the U.S. this week. It’s her third time topping this specific chart and her 11th overall entry, ten of which have landed in the top 10.
‘Friend of Mine’ enters the scene with real momentum, pushing past heavyweights like DJ Snake, Kesha, and a posthumous release by Avicii. His track, ‘Let’s Ride Away’, featuring Elle King, still made waves but couldn’t knock Rihanna from the top spot.
This isn’t just another win on a familiar chart. Rihanna has also broken new ground, appearing for the first time on Billboard’s recently launched Hot Dance/Electronic Pop Songs chart. ‘Friend of Mine’ opens at No. 3 there, standing out as the only new song to make that chart this week. It trails behind Lady Gaga’s long-standing hit ‘Abracadabra’ and Tate McRae’s ‘Revolving Door’.
Despite not cracking the Hot 100 just yet, ‘Friend of Mine’ lands at No. 1 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 list, just one step away. It also enters Billboard’s Dance Streaming Songs chart at No. 6 and is already climbing radio playlists across various formats.
Rihanna’s last No. 1 on the Dance Digital Song Sales chart was back in 2016 with ‘This Is What You Came For’, her collaboration with Calvin Harris. Her first was ‘Where Have You Been’ in 2012. Other big hits like ‘We Found Love’ and ‘Who’s That Chick?’ came close, peaking at No. 2.
‘Friend of Mine’, created for the upcoming The Smurfs movie, seems to have sparked Rihanna’s presence back in dance-pop. While fans still wait for a full-length album, this single proves she hasn’t lost her grip on what makes a dance track resonate.

With strong digital sales, streaming traction, and airplay gains, Rihanna’s comeback track is like a signal that her return to music is just getting started.

Adnan Sami shares emotional story about missing his mother’s funeral due to visa denial
Musician Adnan Sami recently spoke about a personal loss that was made even more painful by political red tape. In a televised interview, he shared that when his mother, Naureen Sami Khan, passed away in October 2024, he was not allowed to travel to Pakistan to attend her funeral. Despite getting a green signal from the Indian authorities, Pakistan refused him a visa.
Sami said the news of his mother’s sudden death came as a shock to the family. She had no health issues. He immediately contacted both governments with the hope of being there for her final rites. “The Indian government understood the situation,” he recalled. “They told me, ‘Of course, you should go.’” But Pakistan denied his request. His plea, he said, was simple and personal. He just wanted to see his mother one last time. That never happened.
Instead, he had to sit in another country and watch her funeral unfold over a WhatsApp video. “I couldn’t believe this is how I’d say goodbye to her,” Sami said, visibly emotional.
Adnan Sami was born in London in 1971. His father, Arshad Sami Khan, was a decorated officer in the Pakistan Air Force and also served as a diplomat. His mother was Indian by birth. Though he spent much of his early life in Pakistan and the UK, Sami moved to India and officially became an Indian citizen in 2016.
There has long been speculation about his reasons for giving up Pakistani citizenship. Responding to this, Sami said money was never the reason. He came from a privileged background and left behind property worth crores. What he sought was creative freedom and a space to grow. “An artist needs an audience that supports growth,” he said. “India gave me that.”
Despite having deep ties with Pakistan, his son lives there, Sami says he never felt he could fully be himself in that environment. His decision to live in India was not political, he insists, but personal. And yet, politics managed to interfere in the most private moment of his life, his mother’s farewell.
This episode, according to Sami, was not just a personal heartbreak. It showed how borders can sometimes block even basic human grief.

Stranger Things season 5 returns with a trailer full of ghosts, glitches, and the promise of war
Forget the obvious monsters and teary reunions. The Stranger Things season 5 trailer doesn’t scream its secrets. The Stranger Things season 5 trailer is built like a trap: layered, emotional, and quietly explosive. It’s laying out clues, hiding signals in flashbacks, episode titles, and even what isn’t shown. While most viewers locked eyes on Eleven’s bleeding nose or Vecna’s looming shadow, the real story is in the background details. Quiet, strange, and deliberate.
We watched it frame by frame. Here’s what slipped past most eyes but could shape everything that’s coming.
One of the episode titles shown in the trailer glitches halfway: “The Vanishing of…” and then static. But look closer at when this flash happens right after a fast-paced montage of Eleven disappearing, military gear being deployed, and the kids scattered. This isn’t just a stylised choice. Someone important vanishes, maybe for good. The title cuts off, and so might they.
Stranger Things season 5 Still : A storm brews over Hawkins as the final battle beginsInstagram/strangerthingstv
“Escape from Camazotz” isn’t just a cool name
Camazotz is more than a villain name. In Mayan mythology, it’s a bat god from the underworld. But more interestingly, Camazotz is also the name of the mind-controlled world in A Wrinkle in Time. That dual reference? Very Duffer Brothers. We can expect an episode that messes with perception, not just survival, like a maze of memory, identity, and manipulation.
Stranger Things season 5 Still : Eleven stands alone, but the past is never far behindInstagram/strangerthingstv
Will’s whispered “Run” isn’t panic but a warning
It’s not the volume of Will’s “Run” that matters, it’s his face. He isn’t just scared. He looks aware, like he’s sensing something the others can’t. Will’s history with the Upside Down makes him the best early-warning system the group has. And this time, it seems like he’s picking up signals from inside the storm again.
Stranger Things season 5 Still : Vecna’s shadow looms darker, closer, inevitableInstagram/strangerthingstv
The Upside Down is still frozen in 1983 and that matters
Season 5 keeps showing broken clocks, stalled electronics, and old calendars and that’s not just set design. 1983 was when Eleven first tore a hole into the Upside Down. That frozen moment may be more than symbolic. It could be the origin point and the reason time refuses to move forward in that dimension. A loop they can’t break. Yet.
Stranger Things season 5 Still : The kids are scattered, but the war has only just begunInstagram/strangerthingstv
“The Rightside Up” finale title is a lie
It sounds like a return to normal. But with Hawkins visibly collapsing, streets flipping, and skies cracking open, “The Rightside Up” might not mean restoration. It could mean replacement. If Vecna wins, his world becomes the new dominant one. This isn’t balance, but takeover.
Stranger Things season 5 Still : The Upside Down cracks through Hawkins skiesInstagram/strangerthingstv
Linda Hamilton’s absence says everything
She’s a sci-fi icon. You don’t cast Linda Hamilton and then not show her. Her complete absence from the trailer feels like deliberate misdirection. Is she a secret weapon? Or a hidden villain? Set leaks show her in a lab coat and combat boots. Whatever side she’s on, she’s not just passing through.
Stranger Things season 5 Still : Flashbacks collide with present danger in the season’s haunting first lookInstagram/strangerthingstv
The flashbacks aren’t just recaps, they’re triggers
Over half the trailer replays old scenes. Why? It’s not just a recap for new viewers. It’s how trauma works. Eleven, Will, Max, they’ve all been broken and bent by what’s happened. The constant jump cuts and echoing dialogue mimic PTSD spirals. This season is fighting monsters. But more than that, it’s confronting memory.
Stranger Things season 5 Still : A familiar world begins to twist into something elseInstagram/strangerthingstv
That cloud over Hawkins? Not weather but a merge
The swirling storm above town isn’t just atmosphere. It’s a transformation. In previous seasons, weather changes signalled dimensional breaches. Now the storm crackles with lightning that mimics Demogorgon shrieks. Hawkins isn’t being invaded. It’s dissolving into something else.
Stranger Things season 5 Still : Old clocks. Frozen time. New horrorsInstagram/strangerthingstv
“The Crawl” premiere title is literal
This sounds metaphorical, right? Like a descent into chaos. But shots of cracked tunnels, burning ash, and Eleven dragging herself through rubble point to something physical. The Crawl is not just the mood, it’s how the season starts: slow, desperate, and close to the ground.
Stranger Things season 5 Behind the scenes :Hawkins isn’t falling apart. It’s being rewrittenInstagram/strangerthingstv
The release schedule is a ritual
Thanksgiving. Christmas. New Year’s. The release dates Netflix chose aren’t random. They mark thresholds. Moments of reflection and change. The trailer leans into that: family dinners, countdowns, empty chairs. Episode drops? They’re events, echoing the show’s central themes like loss, rebirth, and choosing who you become.
Stranger Things season 5 Behind the scenes : The final season doesn’t just look back, it pulls the past with itInstagram/strangerthingstv
So, what’s really going on?
Vecna loves secrets. He thrives on what we overlook. Those flickering frames and half-heard whispers? They’re his fingerprints. So rewatch it. Pause on the shadows. Listen to the static. The answers aren’t in the explosions… they’re in the silence between them.

Cardi B and Stefon Diggs cozy up on a yacht during Memorial Day weekend in Miami
Cardi B seems to be leaving the past behind and stepping into a new chapter, this time with NFL player Stefon Diggs. The rapper made things official on Instagram over Memorial Day weekend, sharing a set of photos that confirmed what many fans had been speculating for months: she is dating the New England Patriots wide receiver.
In the photos, Cardi is seen enjoying the Miami sun with Diggs, lounging on a yacht, dancing playfully, and surrounded by lavish gifts like red roses and oversized teddy bears. One video showed her dancing while Diggs stood behind her, signalling a clear sense of ease and comfort between the two. She captioned the post, “Chapter 5… Hello Chapter 6,” marking what feels like a turning point in her personal life.
The pair had first stirred up dating rumours back in February after being spotted together on Valentine’s Day in Miami. They were later seen sitting courtside together at an NBA playoff game in New York earlier this month, but this is the first time either of them has openly acknowledged the relationship online.
All of this comes during a rocky and very public split from her ex-husband Offset, with whom Cardi shares three children: Kulture, Wave, and their youngest, Blossom. Cardi recently revealed Blossom’s name while addressing concerns about Offset’s alleged absence from their children’s lives. Speaking during a conversation on Twitter, she said Offset has barely seen their youngest and has not been around since March.

Offset, on his part, has reportedly asked for spousal support and joint custody in updated divorce documents, adding more heat to the already tense situation. Cardi claims she has been handling everything related to the kids, including school fees, classes, and other responsibilities, without any help.
While the divorce continues to unfold, Cardi’s post with Diggs has drawn supportive reactions from fans, who are applauding her for moving on and finding joy again. For many, it is a sign that she is choosing growth over chaos, and love that shows up over love that only shows off.
Whatever comes next, Cardi B seems determined to do it on her own terms and this time, with someone new by her side.

Assam’s Binita Chetry shines on Britain’s Got Talent with top 3 finish at just nine
When nine-year-old Binita Chetry stepped onto the Britain’s Got Talent stage, she didn’t just carry her dreams; she carried the hopes of an entire region. Hailing from Bokajan in Assam’s Karbi Anglong, Binita became the first Indian and the first Asian to finish in the top three of the popular UK talent show. Her third-place win in the 2025 finale marked a huge moment, not just for her but for the Indian dance community and the Gorkha population she proudly represents.
Binita’s journey started young. Trained initially by her aunt and later under choreographer Hardik Rawat in Jaipur, she had already made waves in Indian shows like Super Dancer 4 and Dance Deewane Junior before winning the title on Dance Icon Season 2. That win opened the door to Britain’s Got Talent, where her flexibility, energy, and expressions impressed even tough critics like Simon Cowell and Bruno Tonioli.

The road wasn’t easy. Binita’s father, Amar Chetry, runs a small poultry farm but never let limited means stop her talent. He ensured she received proper training and stood by her through every step, from auditions in India to performances on an international stage. Amar is also active in the All Assam Gorkha Students’ Union, making his daughter’s win a big, proud moment for the Gorkha community.
After the final, where magician Harry Moulding won and LED group ‘The Blackouts’ placed second, Binita said, “I am proud of myself. It’s been the best experience.” She returned to Assam to a hero’s welcome with flowers, cheers, and messages from leaders like Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who posted a video of her with the caption: “Dancing her way to glory.”
The young dancer, who dreams of owning a pink princess house, balances her rising fame with schoolwork. She’s still in Class 5. She thanked her parents, her supporters, and “Himanta Mama” for their blessings and also wants to meet the CM in person to express her gratitude.
Even though voting for the show was restricted to the UK, the love Binita received from across borders showed that talent truly speaks louder than borders. And while she hasn’t planned what’s next, this is just the beginning for this rising star.
