Salman Khan to collaborate with brother Sohail Khan on Shuddhi?

Salman Khan is presently busy shooting for his recently announced film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, which is poised for its theatrical release on Eid 2020. Before Radhe reaches cinemas next year, the superstar will be seen in his much-awaited cop drama Dabangg 3, which is scheduled to roll out in theatres on 20th December.

Besides Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai and Dabangg 3, Salman Khan has Sajid Nadiadwala’s next directorial Kick 2 in his pocket. But since the sequel to Kick (2014) is still at the script stage, it will take several months before hitting the shooting floor.

Meanwhile, the news is coming in that Salman Khan might team up with younger brother Sohail Khan for a film. Yes, you heard it absolutely right! According to latest reports, Salman Khan’s brother has registered the title Shuddhi for his upcoming production and directorial venture.

Shuddhi was reported to be one of the dream projects of Dharma Productions’ head honcho Karan Johar, which he had initially planned with Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. But when the duo opted out of the film for reasons best known to them, Salman Khan was roped in to play the lead role in it. However, according to sources, Sohail Khan now seems to have registered the title.

Earlier, filmmaker Karan Malhotra was set to helm the film for Dharma Productions. However, when Salman too walked out of the project, it went into cold storage.  Later Karan Johar had confirmed that he would definitely make Shuddhi and he may even get Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan to topline the same.

Now, an industry insider has informed an entertainment portal that chances are high that Sohail Khan will make Shuddhi and he may even cast brother Salman Khan to play the lead role.

An official confirmation is awaited though.
