Salman Khan’s Eid 2020 release isn’t titled Radhe

Ever since Salman Khan walked out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Inshallah, everyone is waiting for the announcement of the next movie that the superstar is planning to release on Eid 2020. Speculations were rife that Khan might drop Kick 2 on Eid with Sajid Nadiadwala. However, filmmaker Nadiadwala denied the rumours, saying that his team is still working on the script of the sequel.

But now, Salman Khan has himself confirmed that his Eid 2020 release will be helmed by his Dabangg 3 director Prabhudeva. But while confirming the news, the superstar also said that the film has not been titled Radhe. “We (Prabhudeva and I) are doing a film together again. But it is not called Radhe. It will come on Eid,” said the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015) actor.

The confirmation from Salman Khan is going to bring a broad smile on the faces of his fans. The upcoming film will mark a hat-trick for Khan and Prabhudeva after Wanted (2009) and the much-awaited Dabangg 3.

Many people believe that it was the 2009 action entertainer Wanted that brought Salman Khan back in the reckoning after a series of commercially unsuccessful films. After Wanted, Prabhudeva is directing Khan again in Dabangg 3, which is expected to be one of the biggest openers of the year. With their third film already in the works, we can say that Salman Khan and Prabhudeva are set to become one of the most formidable actor-director duos of Bollywood.

Dabangg 3, which went on the shooting floor a couple of months ago, will wrap up on 4th October. Then the film will go into post-production. Also featuring Sonakshi Sinha and Kichcha Sudeep in important roles, Dabangg 3 will buzz into theatres on 20th December, 2019.
