Sanjay Dutt in talks for Telugu film Ayinanu Hastinaku Poyi Ravale?

According to reports, Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt has been approached to play an important role in Telugu film Ayinanu Hastinaku Poyi Ravale.

To be directed by successful filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas, Ayinanu Hastinaku Poyi Ravale stars Tollywood superstar Jr. NTR in the lead role. The forthcoming film will mark his second association with director Trivikram Srinivas. The duo has previously worked together on Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava (2018).

Reportedly, Ayinanu Hastinaku Poyi Ravale is a political drama and the character which has been offered to Sanjay Dutt is of a powerful politician with grey shades.

We also hear that apart from Sanjay Dutt, the upcoming movie will have a few more actors from Bollywood. It is a two-heroine project and Janhvi Kapoor and Pooja Hegde have reportedly been approached to play the female leads opposite Jr. NTR. However, there has been no official confirmation on the casting as yet.

Jr. NTR is currently busy with his much-awaited film RRR alongside Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt. He will start shooting for Ayinanu Hastinaku Poyi Ravale only after wrapping up the S. S. Rajamouli directorial. RRR is scheduled for its theatrical release on 8th January, 2021.

On the work front, Sanjay Dutt, who was last seen in Ashutosh Gowariker’s period drama Panipat (2019), has his plate full with some high-profile projects, including Sadak 2, Shamshera, Prithviraj, Torbaaz and KGF: Chapter 2.

KGF: Chapter 2 is yet another South Indian film wherein Dutt will be seen in an out-and-out negative avatar. The actor plays the character of Adheera in the Prashanth Neel directorial, which also features Kannada star Yash and Raveena Tandon in lead roles. KGF: Chapter 2, a sequel to KGF: Chapter 1 (2018), is a multilingual film.
