Saqib Saleem to play antagonist in Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3?

Speculations are rife that after working with Salman Khan in the recently released action entertainer, Race 3, young Bollywood actor Saqib Saleem might team up with the superstar once again for yet another big-ticket movie.

Yes, if insiders are to be believed, Saleem will play the lead antagonist in Salman Khan’s keenly-awaited film, Dabangg 3. The third instalment of the successful Hindi film series, Dabangg (2010) is expected to roll later this year and Saqib’s name has surfaced for the role of the main villain in it.

If sources are to be believed, it’s none other than Salman who wants Saqib to play the antagonist in the movie. “Salman is keen to get Saqib on board to play the main negative character in Dabangg 3. Casting for the film is underway, and it’s too early to confirm anything yet,” a source lets on.

In the first part of the series, actor Sonu Sood was the main villain, while Dabangg 2, the second instalment of the franchise, starred Prakash Raj in the role of the lead antagonist. Will Saqib be able to do justice to the role in Dabangg 3? Only time will tell.

To be directed by Prabhu Deva, Dabangg 3 will be bankrolled by Arbaaz Khan.
