Sara Ali Khan on working with Kartik Aaryan

Helmed by maverick filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, Love Aaj Kal is one of the most-awaited romantic films of the year 2020. Starring Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan in central characters, the film has been in news for a variety of reasons, one of them being the scorching chemistry that the lead pair shares on the silver screen.

Ever since the makers dropped the theatrical trailer of the film in January,  a lot has been said and written about Kartik and Sara's crackling chemistry. So, when Sara was asked to share her experience of working with Kartik, the actress heaped praises on her co-star. “I think as a person he is very giving and he has been a very giving co-actor. He was always very encouraging,” she said.


Ask her about her on-screen chemistry with Kartik, Sara said that it was more of Zoe and Veer on the sets of the film than Sara and Kartik. “It was more Zoe and Veer v/s Sara and Kartik. We were getting to know Zoe and Veer better. I think it is that chemistry that I am more excited for people to see,” she added.

Love Aaj Kal is a reboot of sorts of Imtiaz Ali's 2009 film Love Aaj Kal, starring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. The latest film also marks the acting debut of Aarushi Sharma. Randeep Hooda will also be seen in an important role in the film.

Produced by Maddock Films, Window Seat Films and Jio Studios, Love Aaj Kal is slated for its widespread theatrical release on 14th February, 2020.
