Satellite Shankar shifts to September

T-Series and Cine1 Studios have decided to postpone the release of their forthcoming film, Satellite Shankar. Earlier slated to roll into cinemas on 5th July, the movie will now hit screens on 6th September.

Satellite Shankar, which began its principal photography on 3rd September, 2018, stars Sooraj Pancholi in the lead role. It will be his second outing in four years. The young actor made his acting debut with Salman Khan Films’ Hero in 2015. However, despite being promoted heavily, the movie bombed at the box-office, incurring huge losses to Salman Khan.


Besides Sooraj Pancholi, the romantic action drama also stars Megha Akash as the female lead. The actress, who has previously starred in Tamil and Telugu films, will be making her Hindi film debut with Satellite Shankar.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Krishan Kumar and Ashwin Varde, the film is directed by Irfan Kamal.
