Shah Rukh Khan dismisses reports of remaking Money Heist

It has been almost a week since rumours have been doing the rounds in Bollywood that superstar Shah Rukh Khan has acquired the remake rights of popular Spanish show Money Heist. Several media outlets reported that Khan was gearing up to adapt the Netflix series as a film and produce it under his production house, Red Chillies Entertainment.

However, the actor has denied any truth in various media reports. Talking to a well-known journalist in Melbourne, Khan said that it was just a rumour and there is no truth in it. He confirmed that his production house is, however, producing Bard of Blood, Class of 83 and Betaal for Netflix.

Shah Rukh Khan also confirmed that he has not signed any movies as yet but he is hearing a lot of scripts not just for acting in but on the production front also. He also revealed that he is interested in doing an action entertainer.

Shah Rukh Khan, who is known as the most popular actor in the world, was last seen in his home production, Zero (2018). The film was directed by well-known filmmaker Aanand L Rai. Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma played the leading ladies in it. SRK had a lot of expectations from the film and had spent like a sailor on its production. However, Zero underperformed upon its release and could not even recover its cost of production from theatrical revenue.

After the dismal performance of Zero, Khan has not signed any film. Though his name has been linked to a number of projects in the past few months, the superstar has time and again said that he has no film in his hand right now. His fans all across the world are, however, waiting for him to announce his next soon.
