Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar and Atlee join hands for a project?

As we all know that Shah Rukh Khan has not signed any film on the dotted line after the colossal failure of his ambitious movie Zero (2018). Co-starring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, the high-profile film was helmed by well-known filmmaker Aanand L Rai. In spite of having such talented creative forces onboard, Zero just did not click with the audience and sank at the box-office without a trace.

It has been more than a year since Zero hit the theatres and Khan’s fans have been waiting for the moment when their favourite superstar comes forward and announces his next project. A lot has been said and written about the film that Shah Rukh Khan might star in next, but there is no concreate information on it.

There have been multiple speculations of him joining hands with South Indian filmmaker Atlee, Rajkumar Hirani and Raj and DK over the past few months. The latest rumour has it that Karan Johar's Dharma Productions is all set to collaborate with Atlee Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan for a film.

"Atlee is currently working with the creative writing team of Dharma Productions to develop the screenplay. Atlee, KJo and SRK want to ensure that the script has trademark stamp of the director and, at the same time, has the pan-India appeal,” a well-placed source informs an entertainment portal.

Shah Rukh Khan’s name has also been linked to Farah Khan’s upcoming directorial. But when the superstar was asked about the same, he denied the reports. Buzz has it that Farah Khan is planning to remake the 1982 cult Bollywood film Satte Pe Satta for Rohit Shetty’s production house. However, she is having a tough time in locking the lead cast for her project.
