Shah Rukh Khan to have his next release in 2021?

Shah Rukh Khan fans all over the world have been waiting for the superstar to announce his next film for a year now. As we all know, the megastar has not signed any film after his ambitious project Zero, which released in December 2018, turned out to be a box-office dud. Speculations have been rife lately that SRK is in talks with filmmakers Rajkumar Hirani, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK and South Indian director Atlee, but no one exactly knows who he is collaborating with for his next offering.

However, if fresh reports are to be believed, Shah Rukh Khan has given his nod to star in successful filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani’s next directorial outing. Yes, you heard that absolutely right! A source in the know informs an entertainment portal, “The talks about his project began earlier this year. Shah Rukh Khan has okayed filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani’s next. This seems to be a huge project and sets will be mounted by April or May 2020. Following this, the makers are looking for 2021 release for the film. As of now, the cast and subject of the film is kept under wraps.”

On his 54th birthday in November, SRK confirmed that he will make the announcement regarding his next film once it starts rolling. Looks like we could finally hear an official announcement in coming few weeks or maybe months.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is busy focusing on his production house, Red Chillies Entertainment. After tasting huge success with Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu’s Badla (2019) and Netflix series Bard Of Blood (2019), he is currently producing Class Of ’83 and Betaal for the same streaming media giant.
