Shivin Narang opens up about teaming up with Jennifer Winget

Featuring Jennifer Winget, Shivin Narang and Ashish Chowdhry in central characters, Beyhadh 2 hits the small screen on 2nd October. Produced by LSD Films Private Limited, the romantic thriller series is the second season of Sony Entertainment Television’s successful show Beyhadh, which starred Jennifer Winget, Kushal Tandon and Aneri Vijani and remained one of the leading and flagship shows on the channel throughout its run.

While Jennifer Winget returns to play her popular character of Maya once again in Beyhadh 2, Shivin Narang and Ashish Chowdhry are the new entrants to join the actress on the cast. Actor Shivin, who joins the second season of the show as Rudra, says that he bonded with his co-star Jennifer Winget since the very first shot that they deliver together.

"We bonded since our very first shot. We gave it right in the first take itself and it seemed seamless. Till now, whatever scenes we have done, the makers have really liked it,” shares Shivin Narang, who was previously seen on Colors’ Internet Wala Love.

The actor goes on to add that despite being a huge star on television, Jennifer has no air around her. "We think people who are a big star, they might have air, but Jennifer is so honest towards her work and everything. She is very sensitive. She is a wonderful human being,” the actor says.

Shivin Narang chose Beyhadh 2 over Salman Khan’s popular but controversial reality show Bigg Boss 13. The actor says that it was a wise decision and now, he is looking forward to seeing audience’s response to his character of Rudra on Beyhadh 2.

Beyhadh 2 premieres on 2 December 2019 on Sony TV at 9 pm IST.

You arrive in Kochi, and it feels like the sea air makes everything slightly sharper; faces in the city look purposeful, a film poster peels at the corner of a wall. In a city that has cradled a thriving film industry for decades, a single crime on the night of 17 February 2017 ruptured the ordinary: an abduction, a recorded sexual assault and a survivor who reported it the next day. What happened next is every woman’s unspoken nightmare, weaponised into brutal reality. It was a public unpeeling of an industry’s power structures, a slow-motion fight over evidence and testimony, and a national debate about how institutions protect (or fail) women.

For over eight years, her fight for justice became a mirror held up to an entire industry and a society. It was a journey from the dark confines of that car to the glaring lights of a courtroom, from being a silenced victim to becoming a defiant survivor whose voice sparked a revolution. This is not just the story of a crime. It is the story of what happens when one woman says, "Enough," and the tremors that follow.
