Shruti Haasan made her big-screen comeback with this year’s release Krack. The movie, which also starred Ravi Teja in the lead role, was a blockbuster at the box office.

The actress’ second film of the year is the recently released movie Vakeel Saab in which she has a cameo. Well, even Vakeel Saab has received a great response at the box office.

So, after two back-to-back successes, Shruti today planned interaction with her fans on Twitter and answered many questions.

The actress has some interesting projects in her kitty and one of them is Salaar in which she will be seen opposite Prabhas. So, when a fan asked her about Salaar and Prabhas, Shruti replied, “He’s is super chill and lovely to work with.”

Salaar is being directed by Prashanth Neel. So, a fan asked her about the filmmaker to which Shruti replied, “He is super clear minded and calm.”

Well, Salaar is undoubtedly one of the most awaited pan-India films of the year, and it will surely be interesting to watch the fresh pairing of Prabhas and Shruti on the big screen. The movie is slated to hit the big screens on 14th April 2022.

Talking about other projects of Shruti, the actress will be seen in Laabam which also stars Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. The release date of the film is not yet announced.

Hollywood’s obsession with Ozempic and similar weight-loss drugs is largely reshaping how we view body image, and not necessarily for the better. Once celebrated for promoting self-acceptance and diversity in body shapes, the entertainment industry is now leaning back into an era of extreme thinness, driven by the widespread use of these medications. Stars who once spoke about positivity, like Mindy Kaling, are now noticeably slimmer, sparking conversations about whether the message of self-love is being overshadowed by a new wave of unrealistic standards.

Dr. Charlotte Markey, a psychology professor at Rutgers University, points out that the rise of Ozempic has shifted the whole conversation. “We’re seeing less emphasis on accepting natural body diversity and more on achieving a specific, often unattainable, look,” she says. While the desire to be thin isn’t new, Markey believes society had made progress in recent years by embracing a lot of healthier attitudes toward body image. But the ease of weight loss through drugs like Ozempic has disrupted that whole momentum.

In an interview, he pointed out how the same critics who slammed the film for its violence and misogyny were all praises for Ranbir’s performance. “The same people who criticised the film had no problem saying Ranbir was brilliant. I’m not jealous of Ranbir, but why is there a difference in how they see our work?” he asked. According to him, actors work on multiple films a year, making them a safer bet for praise, whereas directors take years to bring a project to life and are easier to criticise.

After nearly five years of legal battles, Bollywood actor and newly elected MP Kangana Ranaut has officially resolved her defamation dispute with veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar. In a settlement reached before a special court in Mumbai, Ranaut issued an unconditional apology for her past remarks, bringing an end to a case that had been dragging on since 2020.

The conflict began in July 2020, when Kangana, in a media interview following the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, mentioned Javed Akhtar’s name while discussing the alleged power struggles within Bollywood. Akhtar took offence and filed a defamation case, stating that her statements had damaged his reputation. A year later, Kangana countered with a complaint of her own, accusing Akhtar of intimidation and undue pressure regarding a separate controversy involving actor Hrithik Roshan.
