Taapsee Pannu on not talking about her Coronavirus donation

In hour of need, Bollywood has always come forward to lend its helping hand. In a time when India is grappling with the Coronavirus pandemic, several Bollywood celebrities have done their bit by making generous contributions towards PM-Cares Funds to help those in dire need.

Popular actress Taapsee Pannu has also donated for the COVID-19 relief work, but unlike her colleagues, she has chosen not to reveal the amount of her donation. When asked if it was a conscious decision to not talk about her donation, she tells a publication, “Yes, I have done my bit for my personal satisfaction and not for attention. Charity is a personal choice and should not be peer pressure. Those who talk about how much they have donated to encourage others is again a personal choice. As it is, we get so much attention and love for the work we do as actors. So, when I payback, I don’t want to announce it.”

Upon being asked how is she keeping herself busy during the lockdown, she informs, “I am pretty occupied since I have moved into my new apartment. My day starts at 7 am and ends at 10 at night. I work out, play cognitive games and watch movies that I missed out on. My sister and I plan the interior of our new house which is 80 percent complete and also brainstorm on my new ideas for our wedding planning company (The Wedding Factory) and the badminton team (Pune 7 Aces). I am learning to cook, something which I used to run away from,” concludes the actress.

Taapsee Pannu will be next be seen in Haseen Dilruba and Rashmi Rocket. While Haseen Dilruba is almost complete with just 10 days’ shoot left, Rashmi Rocket is yet to mount the shooting floor.
