Tara Sutaria keen to add Aankhen 2 to her repertoire?

Though her debut film Student of the Year 2 (2019) did not perform as per expectations at the box-office, Tara Sutaria did manage to arrest a lot of eyeballs. As we all know that the actress had signed two films even before the release of her debut vehicle. The latest we hear that Tara is now hoping to add much-talked-about Aankhen 2 to the list of her upcoming movies.

So, what has led to these speculations? Has the actress already signed the project? Well, Tara Sutaria was recently spotted at a meeting with filmmaker Anees Bazmee. She was accompanied by her business manager. It looks like some good news is indeed on the cards.

Talking about the upcoming projects of Tara Sutaria, the actress will shortly be seen in Marjaavaan, which stars Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh in lead roles. Marjaavaan will be followed by the Bollywood remake of South Indian film RX 100 (2018).

“She is doing well for herself. She has Milap Zaveri’s Marjaavaan with Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh and has also found a place in Sajid Nadiadwala’s remake of RX 100, which will launch Ahan Shetty. Anees Bhai has also been meeting quite a few actors, from Jacqueline Fernandez to Sidharth, for his film. It is obvious that with casting in mind, he will be meeting potential actors for the film,” a trade source reveals.

Bazmee, who is currently busy finishing his next Pagalpanti with John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and Kriti Kharbanda, is still in the process of finalizing the cast for Aankhen 2. Amitabh Bachchan is the only actor confirmed for the project as yet.

The film is a sequel to the 2002 heist drama Aankhen, which starred Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal and Sushmita Sen in lead roles.
