Tejasswi Prakash is one of the leading actresses on Indian television, who has several notable shows to her credit including Swaragini (2015-16), Pehredaar Piya Ki (2017) and Karn Sangini (2018-19). She is currently seen on Colors’ adventure reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 10, hosted by filmmaker Rohit Shetty. But apart from her show, there is something else too which is keeping her in headlines.

We are talking about her growing bond with Beyhadh 2 actor Shivin Narang, which has caught many people’s attention. For the uninitiated, Narang was also a participant on Khatron Ke Khiladi 10. Now, buzz has it that the two actors are seeing each other. However, when Tejasswi Prakash was asked about the same, she said that she is quite surprised with the ongoing rumours about her love life.

Dismissing the rumours of dating Shivin Narang, the actress told a leading publication that they are just good friends and nothing more than that. “I really don’t know what bond has fans seen between us. Yes, he is a good friend. That’s it. But there is nothing more than that. All people are asking me and even my friends are asking if I am dating him. I am not dating him. I thought they are reacting to our friendship. But now if they are saying that I am having an affair then, of course, I am going to react,” she said.

Talking about her journey on Khatron Ke Khiladi 10, the actress said that it was great. “My journey was great. It was fun. I am happy with what I have done in the show and what the show has given me,” she signed off.

Highlights:

  • Government to criminalise porn that shows strangulation or suffocation during sex.
  • Part of wider plan to fight violence against women and online harm.
  • Tech firms will be forced to block such content or face heavy Ofcom fines.
  • Experts say the ban responds to medical evidence and years of campaigning.

The plan is to make possessing or distributing pornographic material that shows sexual strangulation, often called ‘choking’, illegal. This is a specific amendment to the Crime and Policing Bill. Ministers are acting on the back of a stark, independent review. That report found this kind of violence is not just available online, but it is rampant. It has quietly, steadily, become normalised.
