Tiger Shroff to train in Israel for Baaghi 3

Baaghi is one of the most successful action film franchises Bollywood has ever produced. The first instalment of the film released in 2016 and turned out to be a big hit at the box-office. The second instalment hit the marquee in 2018 and, breaking the records of its predecessor, became one of the highest grossing films of the year. While Shraddha Kapoor and Disha Patani played female leads in Baaghi and Baaghi 2 respectively, Tiger Shroff was the male lead in both the films.

The makers were so confident about Baaghi 2 that they went on to announce Baaghi 3 weeks before the theatrical release of the second instalment. The Baaghi franchise is known for its jaw-dropping action sequences and Baaghi 3 is going to be a bigger action extravaganza than its previous instalments.

Talking about the next part, director Ahmed Khan told a tabloid, “In Baaghi 2, Tiger jumped off a cliff to land on a mid-air chopper. He also performed stunts on water. This time we have him taking over a city and breaking it down, besides jumping off cliffs and skyscrapers and setting off blasts.”

The director reveals that Tiger Shroff will undergo a new form of self-defence and physical training called Krav Maga in Israel to prepare for the role once shooting for his film with Hrithik Roshan is complete. “Tiger will be there for eight-10 days and is really looking forward to it. He has so much to give and always up for it,” Khan shared, adding that he will continue his training in Georgia, where Shroff will learn about weapons and firearms.

Talking about the shooting locations, the director said, “We are not naming any place in particular and will be filming in Georgia, Turkey and Serbia. We are also building sets and have a schedule in India too and should lock the location by this week.”

Also starring Shraddha Kapoor, Baaghi 3 buzzes into theatres in 2020. Sajid Nadiadwala is bankrolling it under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
