TV star Sehban Azim to be seen in short film Banjar

Popular television actor Sehban Azim, who currently plays the character of Yash Arora in Colors’ hit soap Bepanaah, feels strongly about the plight of Indian farmers. Soon, he will be seen in a short film which talks about the plight of farmers. Titled Banjar, the movie has been helmed by Litmus.

Sehban, who has wrapped up the film, says the story clearly reflects the hard work our farmers put in, in their day to day lives. “The film is based on a real-life story about a farmer's life and how he changed the face of the Earth with his hard work,” he says.

Banjar has been shot in the rural parts of Bhondsi, Haryana and some parts of Delhi. Besides Sehban Azim, the movie also stars Maniesh Paul in a significant role.

“Maniesh and I play childhood friends. The story is about togetherness, Mother Nature and the struggles farmers go through in India. I play Maniesh’s best friend in the film while he plays a poor farmer trying hard to make ends meet,” he says.
