Vivian Dsena quits Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki

Vivian Dsena, one of the highest-paid actors on Indian television, has reportedly decided to exit Colors’ long-running show Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. The actor plays the male lead Harman Singh on the popular show, produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms.

Dsena has been part of Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki since its beginning. After playing the lead character for more than three years now, the actor will be bidding adieu to the show soon. But what has led Vivian Dsena to put his papers down?

According to reports, Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki is gearing up for a generation leap. The actor was not happy to play a father to a grown-up child in the upcoming generation leap on the show and hence decided to call it quits.

“Vivian and the makers have ended their association amicably. While the upcoming track will show him become a father, his character will not be seen post the time leap. In fact, there will be no replacement for his character, Harman, on the show,” a source close to the development reveals.

The source goes on to add that Vivian will be wrapping up his track by the end of the month. “Vivian is averse to playing father to a grown-up child at this stage in his career and hence, he has quit the show. He is expected to wrap up his track by the end of this month,” adds the source.

Produced by Rashmi Sharma, Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki began its journey on 30th May, 2016. It emerged as one of the highest-rated shows on Colors within weeks of its premiere. It is still one of the top-rated shows on the channel. Besides Vivian Dsena, Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki also features Rubina Dilaik as the protagonist.

An official announcement confirming Vivian Dsena’s is awaited.
