“We’re working harder to make Beyhadh 2 more successful,” says Shivin Narang

Television actor Shivin Narang, who has impressed the audience with shows like Ek Veer Ki Ardaas: Veera and Internet Wala Love, is coming up with his next show Beyhadh 2. As the title aptly suggests, Beyhadh 2 is the second season of Sony Entertainment Television’s blockbuster thriller Beyhadh.

After the huge success of the first season, SONY TV is set to launch Beyhadh 2, which stars Jennifer Winget, Aashish Chowdhary and Shivin Narang in central characters. While Aashish Chowdhary and Shivin Narang are new to the show, Jennifer Winget has been retained from the cast of the previous season.

Shivin is psyched up about playing a character which is going to be completely different from what he has done before on television. “The show Beyhadh is known for its storyline and characters and for any actor to work with such a team is like a dream. Whenever a sequel comes out of a popular show, the pressure is maintained. Hence, we are working harder to make season 2 more successful,” says the talented actor.

When asked about the preparations that he had to do for his role in Beyhadh 2, the actor adds, “Acting is a difficult job. However, whenever a project is offered, we work on the character and give our best to make it special for the audience to watch. I am working hard for Beyhadh 2. My bond with Jennifer Winget and Ashish Chowdhry is amazing. Both actors are very sweet and the entire team is great to work with.”

Produced by Cinevistaas Limited and LSD Films, Beyhadh 2 is slated to go on air on 2nd December 2019, only on Sony Entertainment Television.

The Divine Feminine: Prashasti Singh talks power, pressure, and laughter

Highlights:

  • Prashasti’s comedy comes from real-life stories, not just punchlines.
  • The show explores modern women chasing success but still feeling unfulfilled.
  • She quit a secure corporate job and jumped into comedy.
  • Stand-up made her stop being scared of talking to people.
  • People laugh together at the same everyday problems.

Prashasti Singh started her stand-up terrified of speaking in public. “I was very conscious of my language, my pronunciation, my accent. I thought stand-up wouldn’t be my thing,” she says. But her first open mic changed that. “It felt like I was among a bunch of sisters, a bunch of friends. I just forgot all my nervousness. It came out very naturally.”
